Our non-profit charity puts meals directly into the hands of children with food insecurity.
Did you know that there are children going hungry right here in Iredell County, North Carolina? Food instability is a real issue here and in many parts of the country. Children who rely on school meals to eat during the week might have inadequate or no food during the days that they are not in school. This sad reality is something that we here at Food For Days, a non-profit charity, are trying to combat! The plan is simple, the execution is reasonable, and the results are fantastic. We would love to tell you more!
As a non-profit charity, we are able to ensure that all your donations go straight to the children who need them most. Whether you choose to purchase food items or make a monetary donation, nothing is withheld from these children in need. Starting with just a local church wanting to fill a need in the community, Food For Days has grown to help near over 460 hungry kids in 17 different local schools! We are so proud of the progress that we have made but are still conscious of the needs that are not being met. We are always striving to ensure that the issues of current program members are being met while continuing to look for those children who might have a need not yet met.
