Food Program for Children in Iredell County, North Carolina

Currently, our food program for children serves 460 students in 17 schools throughout the school year. The 15 churches, businesses, individuals, and community organizations we partner with make this possible, and we are always looking for more partners and organizations to help us spread our influence further.

Our food program for children was founded by John Saunders back in 2010, and in our infancy, his church partnered with one school that fed 10 students. After the superintendent of the Mooresville Graded School District indicated that every school needs access to a program like this, we decided to recruit additional community support and secure our 501(c)(3) status. We look forward to how our food program will expand over the upcoming years, and we know we couldn’t do it without the great organizations and people who support us.

Help us end food insecurity in local children!
